I broke down and did it....
Ok so some of you guys heard me talking about the SLP grille...I was trying to decide between it and the tony stewart grill to finally get rid of that retarded shield. well I found it on Ebay for $89.00 bucks so I got it. Two reasons I went with the SLP grille one the price on ebay and two I have to have a licence plate on the front so i like the red bowtie. I will post pics as soon as i get it and install it.

I would've bought the SLP grille, also, if I didn't all ready have the bow-tie on the front. I like the red bow-tie. Check out the bow-tie I have under the hood

Hehe, sorry i couldn't resist a title like that and RocknSS04 i agree if i had a bowtie on the front license cover i would of went with the tony stewart grill also. but my state requires a license plate on the front. I will post pics as soon as i get it on in a few days.

RE: I broke down and did it....
I don't mean to steal a thread or anything, but if noone on the forum has discussed the SLP grille before, I can say that it is of pretty decent quality. The only thing bad is that mine only came with enough double sided tape to just tape the corners down. So, I bought a roll of 3M double sided body tape, and taped it around the entire circumference of the grille (and the 3m stuff is alot thicker then what it comes with). Also, since my car is black, and the grille comes black, I just clear coated mine to give it a good shine since it comes with a satin finish. It matches my paint finish pretty well. Here's a pic of it if anyone is interested...

Thanks for the pic Matt. Now that I finally see the SLP grille installed, I like it better than the Tony Stewart grille. The bowtie looks great, especially on cars that have to have a front plate. Now I'm considering one for mine.
