I have loked at getting mine off and it looks like a pain, how the hell did someone just walk up to it and take it off??? they had to know how it comes off before hand so you proabably right with the people in the silver monte. I would be going to jail if that happened to me and I saw them afterwords!

 

Not sure if this is correct, but if that's the extension for a 2000-2005 SS/High Sport (see part #18) the GM list price is $712. Discounted price would be $437. And I'm sure it's not painted.
