Well, I just got the estimate, 5 grand even. Front bumper cover, fender, door shell, mirror, and rocker panels. Along with paint and stuff. They're telling me it's gonna be ready Monday. Here's hoping.

Wow... that was quite an adventure! Must have been an un-nerving moment to unbuckle and climb out. Even pushing it back over must have felt ... destructive? I wouldn't want to risk delivering the death blow to the car, but what else could you do? The car held up incredibly! You must feel like Superman now....

Nah, the cars more Superman the I am, with that little damage from being on it's side and the engine still being able too run and everything.

Yeah, it's nice having a grandfather who's a mechanic and a friend who's spent the last 20 years painting cars. I'm lucky.
