Woah. That's crazy. Glad you're OK.

Were you on the stock Goodyear RS-A tires? If not, what tire and how many miles?

Nah. I didn't dare drive it home. My grandfather (the guy in the pictures) came and got it with his flatbed.

They were Eagle GTs. Just got em a couple weeks ago so not much. It was an absolute downpour out and I was on my way too work, I-81 was packed, people were driving like maniacs, and it was just bad. Of course the one who was driving safe happened to go off the road. I was merging on to the interstate and slowed down too inch my way in a space and as soon as i touched that brake pedal it was over. So I'm guessing I was just hydroplaning down the ramp and didn't even know it.

We are SO glad you weren't hurt!

I totalled 2 '01 Impalas. I was unhurt in both. THAT's why I drive a Monte Carlo. The structural integrity saved my life on the 2nd one.

I hope the car can be rebuilt OK.

Are these the tires you were driving on?

i think the fact your tires were still green and all the oil and crap on the road led to your off road excursion. i've hyrdroplaned on big puddles on the highway before and can say my butt sure was puckered tight.

if you're gonna for 4-wheelin, you need this:

Yeah rockin, those exact ones. It was pretty nerve racking, when the car was on it's side I waited a few seconds to see if it would tip completely then just rolled down the window, undid my seat belt, climbed out, jumped off, and pushed it back over. Some people stopped and had the ambulance on the way before I got out of the car so that was really nice of them.
