As some of you all might know I have been searching long and hard for a decent Monte preferably a SS but while driving today i parked next to a black 2000 SS jokingly i asked you want to sell your car?? Surprising she said maybe and then asked me whats my offer... its a 2000 black SS with cloth interior and sunroof. The body has 150000 miles on it but she said she swapped the engine out the last one blew up on here and this new one has 80,000 miles on it. im not too sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing lol but whats a decent offer or should i even make one to her lol.... also i found a 2000 LS with 110,000 on it she wants 3600 for it but it has some body blemishes and is there anybody that knows somebody selling there Monte near chicago

 

I wouldn't pay over 3500 for either of them.

the lady is set on 3600 its crazy should i buy it or wait and see if something else rolls around i dont wanna miss out on a good opportunity

These engines are pretty hard to break.

If she had to replace it, there's a good chance she just doesn't do regular maintenance in time.
