I took the Deuce home from the Monte Nursery

She had about 100 miles on her (She came from a Detroit dealership to Lansing (Shaheen's Chevy))

I have had her since March 3rd 2006 and plan to keep her till they take my license away

 

I am the second owner. The car came from not to far away from me in the town in PA were the third plane went down on 9/11. All of the original records complete with the original owners address were still with the car. The car was serviced to the dealer, and looks to been garage kept and never driver in salt. No rust anywhere on the car. It still looks new. While my fun/show car was in for paint I took the Monte to some shows and won some second place awards and one third place award in the stock class. Percentage wise it has a higher win % than my 84 Fiero show car.

I bought it in June with just over 68.000 miles. It will be mainly a trip car (my wife and I are retired) and driven in good weather.

This will be, given my age and the condition of the Monte, a car I will own for the rest of my life. I take care of my cars and still do a lot of my own work work on what I own.

 

I am the original owner of My Monte Carlo Z-34
I ordered mine in November of 1997.. I received delivery of it in June of 1998. It was the first 1999 Monte Carlo Z-34 in Michigan and it is also the last model year for the Z-34.


When I bought it...
I said I will own it til the wheels fall off... to this day they never have.... lol
I will have it til I pass on... and I plan on it being Passed on to one of my step children..

 

I suppose on a technicality it is a 2 owner car, as it was in my parents' name from the order and then gifted over to me.

I am the 3rd owner of my monte, she had 66k miles and change when i got her. Was originally a corporate car for a few thousand miles at first. It really makes you wonder, if cars could talk what stories might they have from their pasts? What places they may have been, people that have been in them etc etc, makes you wonder.

That would really be interesting and fun if they did, but many new cars are talking now & I'm sure in the future that a owner will be able to ask their car where they were on a certain time & date. A eternal Go Pro Type device (WoW)...
