How many miles do you drive your Monte Carlo a year ?
#41
I've had the Monte for 9 months now, adding over 15,000 miles to the 110,000 it had.
I filled it up the other day and had to get gas the next day, about 290 miles later. That was a long day of errands. Unfortunately it was just local driving, all day long. lol
The 15,000 has been mixed driving, roads to work, highway to family's.

I put on about 40-43,000 per year. My commute is just over 100 miles per day, plus all the other running around. I don't even realize the miles any more, I turn on the SIRIUS radio, and go.
Because the Monte gets the best mpg of our vehicles, we take it for all the family get togethers, shopping trips, and summer events.
As for mpg, the best I have gotten is 33.2 when I had a 200 mile trip, in town and highway miles combined without shutting it off. It is hard to keep from putting my foot into it. I normally get in the 27-28 mpg range in the summer, and it has been closer to the 23-24 mpg range this winter. Those are just close averages, sometimes more, sometimes less.
I had a 2002 GTP 40th anniv ed. before this and it got about the same for millage. I sure liked that car, probably why I looked for the supercharged Monte when the time came.

Wow, someone that actually puts more miles than I do! I think the MOST miles i've ever put on in one year was 40,000 miles, and that was on my Cavalier. My Monte has not made it past the 38,000 miles in a year mark. LOL. Although, this year I am driving it to Missouri and back, so that will add a good 5,000 miles, so this year may be the first year I edge past 40K in a year. LOL.
I am the same way, the milage does not even phase me anymore. I just see it as a number in the dash. haha!
