Default How many 87 Monte Carlo aeros with T tops?

So I just bought this maroon 87 aero coupe that has been sitting in a barn here in Maine for the last 9 years. It has T tops that have never been off and has been stored every winter rather than driven in the salt. VERY dirty but my real question is what do I have? How many of these aero coupes with T tops were made? Some information says more than 6000 while another source says 200 exactly.

Yea the 87 aerocoupes made were 6052. The 200 or 250 with t-top is just a myth. Not knocking t top optioned or not. But I rarely see an 87 that isn't t top. Go look at montecarloss.com at the members photo section and probably 250 with t tops there alone lol
The only 200number is the 1986 aerocoupe which only 200 of those

So it is clear that my 87 is anything but rare. It is still a new experience for me, having had mostly Corvettes over the years. As I search for sources for parts like rubber seals and trim parts it seems overwhelming. Any recommendations for good vendors for these cars? In the Corvette community there are a couple of great sources and a few much less so.

I think the 87 aerocoupes are a rare car. Just the 250 w/ttop that we all still hear off is just a myth. The rubber seals, I would try Steele rubber company or someone. If you are hunting the rear window seal, good luck those are like finding chickens teeth.
Also check montecarloss.com those guys cater to the 83-88 models specifically.
