2000 Monte Carlo SS
237,000 km (I have owned is since 180,000km)

Only minor stuff. Well... other than the new engine and tranny at 230,000 KM Was the result of a spun bearing.

106,763 miles.

2003 3.8L

Problems:
-BCM gave up the ghost (65K) (Warranty Repair)
-Catalytic Converter Collapsed (88K) (Replaced w/ ZZP DP Magnaflow cat myself)
-Car taken off of road for 5 months, leaking oil badly. (106,500K)
Just completed the following repairs myself & passed inspection :

Replaced cooling fan shroud. (Clearing P0480 code)
Replaced blown valve cover gaskets. (Thanks to the cat)
New plugs, wires & serpentine belt.
ZZP 1.0 tuned PCM (Clearing P0420 code)
Cleaned & derusted entire engine compartment! (Went through some paint & Por-15.)

I try to do as much of the work myself now, as money is tight & its fun!

As of now...I believe it has 175,560 miles on it . As far as I can remember...we've only had to replace the radiator fans and a few passenger wheel bearings (I blame the crappy roads we have >.>) Other than that, the transmission sounds like it's about to die (bearing noises and shift trouble) but there's not much you can really do when you don't have the money for the repairs and you have to drive it everyday to get to work and back Aside from those things though, the car has and still runs great

Sorry to post this.

The 2006 Monte roller over the 15,000 mile mark this past weekend.
It's right at 15,209 right now.

I knew before we left this would happen. But I offered to use the car to drive Debbie up to see her mother. So the '03 Pace car could set at home. We've put about 1,500 miles on it in the past few months traveling to/from Michigan to see her mother who's battling cancer.

And......... we hit a HUGE rain storm in Toledo, OH yesterday driving back. So it will take me a few days to get the '06 Monte clean again.

After that, it'll be work on the '03 Pace car. Both cars are scheduled to be at the 2010 Monte Carlo Nations at the end of the month.
