3.8 V6
127,000 miles

Bought car @ 95,500 miles.2 weeks in had to rebuild entire tranny, torque converter went bad

Major oil leaks/ LIM gaskets, valve cover gaskets, etc........110,000 miles

Had to replace BCM(Body Control Module) for gauges going bad on cluster, power locks stopped working, etc @ around 115,000 miles

Now around 125,000 I am getting the Traction off light/ ABS light on issue......was told it could be wheel hub sensor or other issue

Recall on Steering Mechanism/Box? done twice
Replace Air Bag/Horn center of Steering Wheel, Typical maintenance done myself: Oil, Brakes, Tires, Serpentine Belt, Heat Sensor, Plastic elbows for cooling system into engine block, Catalytic converter replaced, straight pipes replaced, also replaced ignition swith. Currently Having issues with Traction control and transmission, not shifting right. Other than that Love this Car. ps.. We have signs of body rot at rear wheel wells.

Purchased in 04/11 w/88,000 miles on it.
Just rolled 105,000 this last weekend.

 

When I mentioned I just hit 100000 last Thursday , did forget to list the items/problems.
All recall items(d/seat airbag ect)
Control body module
Fuel rails 2xs
Upper & lower intake & gaskets
Trans at 49,000 (which GM paid for half since I called them & complained) 2 weeks before my extended kicked in of course
And normal routine timely maintenance
Will get my 100000 service done this weekend

 

Ohhh I forgot to mention 3 catalytic converters and resonator delete since it was rusted out

all four corners, found broken sway bar. oops
have a friend and some kids who help me work on it
thinking of redoing plugs and wires now, thoughts ?

Bought it new w/ 0 miles in August 2002
Has close to 730,000 miles on it now.
Currently it has has issues that I just don't want to repair or deal with (I.e. E brake cable, passenger window switch, major body work needed, cruise control don't work, half the dash lights don't work, etc.)
However mechanically/suspension are in perfect shape and I see me this little turd hitting the 1 million mile journey. (Ps. Chevrolet of USA has confirmed if my monte does hit the 1 MIL mark they would like to trade it for a new Camaro of my choice and showpiece my Monte somewhere)

 

I have 270K on my '06 LTZ...

 

My car has 330,000 miles on it. 4.3 liter, 200r4 tranny. My uncle was the original owner, my aunt just gave it to me last week, it is almost mint condition. had ever scheduled maintenance. motor tranny and rear end has never been rebuilt just maintained.

 

2003, (11/01/2002) Monte Carlo SS 3.8 fully loaded, Black on Black with 106,350 miles. I have a little rot on the drivers side rear wheel well, motor and trany all original. replaced the Stabilizer Bar, the two L shaped brackets on the motor for Coolant flow, the Steering box (per Recall) has been replaced twice. i replaced the Ignition Switch. I believe my shocks and transmission are on there way out. I've done all the regular maintenance myself, brakes, oil, anti freeze flush, tires, serpenteen belt. i love my car and i am giving it to my son
