620 miles now..................

the car had 110,ooo when restored, but all new parts have 620 on the eng, trans, rear + suspension

My 98 LS has 108,054 miles and hasn't had any major problems other than small maintenance fixes.

Update on my 06 3.5L....120,900 miles. No added problems since last update. Runs like new!

My 05 just turned 75000 miles on the way to work and the 03 just turned 26000 on my way home from IN.

i thought I had posted in this thread but I guess not lol I monte think my is bout to turn over 42,400 miles =( got her with 18,385 back in May 2008, but I've surely enjoyed the ride so far =)

it was because of emissions thing in 1970 you could get a Chevelle 454 SS with 450 HP and 500 FT # of torque and there was one more higher power engine offered that year just could not find specs on it to be correct but i think it had 465 HP and 550 FT # of torque and those numbers where WAY LOWER for insurance reasons

its not a monte but 226,107 last i checked...89 Z24 2.8L 5 speed, bored and stroked to a 3.1 30k ago tho ran lik a champ wen it was rebuilt so it was unnecessary. lol

cars been totaled 3 times...once by me in the rain...but mechanically no issues since iv owned it ^_^

The 2.8 is what they put in the V6 Camaros I think. Didn't realize it was that sturdy of an engine.

1974 Monte Carlo 350 V8 w/2-barrel Rochester carburetor: 68,000 original.
1998 Monte Carlo 3100 SFI V6: 142,000.
