Well guys and gals the big day has come the photo/video layout is August 15th, 2011. Things should be pretty much wrapped up. The redesigned intercooler system is almost done, talked to the tech today and he was finishing it up. The custom billet flexplate is in design now and should be made and back by the end of August, hopefully this is the last part that will be swapped out. Car will be operable while waiting for that last piece to the puzzle - so I will drive (fly - LOL!!) it soon. I will update everyone once I return home.

Now that the intercooler piping is complete, have you been able to drive it yet?

The intercooler, low temperature radiator and diverter valve are all done - and the tech was finishing up the coolant tank and ice box in the trunk today and probably this weekend - then everything will have to be pressure tested for leaks. He will also test for temperature differentials in the system while running to make sure everything is working correctly. I will be there August 15th and that will be the first day I drive it.

Way to go Sam. Gotta make sure I buy a copy.

Well done on making a bad-*** 7th gen Monte. And getting a little respect from the hot rod community. Which is hard to do in a 1995-2007 Monte.

Taz: Thank you - I just hope that my submission to Hot Rod is choosen for a feature article. I have tried to do this whole project as professional as possible even down to the last minute photography which Greg Hubbs (Zippy02) has made all possible - I do owe him a great degree of thanks. You do have it right when to say getting respect for our cars is difficult - I hope I have had something to do with changing that.
