Hot Rod Magazine's 1st Article on MCF Member Bahdeets "Monster" 2007 Monte Carlo SS

Well now MCF member "Bahdeet's" has really done it now! The almost 2 years of building his Monster Monte SS is finally coming to an end. This "One Off" tamed 800WHp 07 Monte SS can out run most anything on the roads, yet could not escape the attention of Hot Rod Magazine. I myself will affirm this 7th Gen. 07 Monte Carlo SS is nothing short of a work of art. The owners insight and unwavering commitment to see through to the end this build deserves a standing ovation. He brings to the Monte Carlo community a stunning project we can all be proud of as it travels to events representing Chevrolet Monte Carlo's.

To get into the highly laureled automotive enthusiast's "Hot Rod Magazine" one's car has to be very special in it's own right. Bahdeet's Monte Carlo SS mere selection for this article validates his quest to build this truly special Monte SS, as his Hot Rodding peers have chosen this car worthy of mention.

I see this car on a bi-monthly basis as the same shop "Paul's Auto' built my Monte SS and we have since developed a strong relationship. My Monte looks like a itty bitty toy when I compare Bahdeet's Monte to mine. No expense has been spared, no detail overlooked. If it needed to be done to insure the car would live then Matt and the owner would figure how to meet their objective. Yet to the Monte purist's you will notice how well the owner has retained the factory appearance and it's original beautiful lines. Sleeper is an understatement, this Monte is a Killer in waiting. The car has proven itself on the dynometer to make over 1,000 whp, yet has been tamed to put out 800whp. The car will very shortly be making it's way back to Michigan and undoubtly many of you will see her at major and local events. Rumor control has it other articles maybe in the works for this McKilla 7th Gen. Monte (wink wink)

I think we all owe Bahdeet's a big round of applause for what he has brought to us!
Way to go my friend, way to go!!!

A close up of the article. My scanner does not do a great close up and then i get an error message saying file is to big if I do a whole page.
So I shot with the camera the article.

Hi `Greg, and thanks for taking the time to post & share with your Monte Carlo Family...It is appreciated...
I hope that `Sam enjoys his investment & has fun in his one of a kind 800 HP FWD Monte Carlo S.S.:congrats:

Look 4ward to seeing track times & speed...
I wonder if it will beat the New 2012 ZL1 ?
That would be a super race 4-Sure : )
Did Sam ever state how much he has invested ? $$$$$$'s WoW

I saw this also. WOW! Transmission eater is right! To bad he couldn't've fit in a 4T80E, but I'm sure $$$ can make most anything durable. It has a one-off block. THAT wasn't cheap either.
NICE!
