Here's a link to a v-8 powered lumina that a guy in GA is selling. It looks like that car that Mel Gibson was driving in the original Mad Max movie. It looks pretty cool. I especially like the headlights, wheels and the paint.

Yes. Look at the motor - the serpentine belt's on the side. RWD cars have all that up front.

 

I think when those guys throw SBC V8s in fieros they used the 4t80e transmission out of the cadillacs. I dont know if there is an adapter or if they bolt up.

 

That Lumina is awesome, lol. I bet it's a fun car.

I must sell this one of a ride due to divorce. It is a 1993 Chevy Lumina Z34 with a 350 cu. in. V8 transplant. This is the only one ever built to the best of my knowledge. It took me 2 years and over $10,000 for this project. It has about 1000 miles since completion. It is an early 70's 010 hi-nickle alloy 350 block with the best of everything. There is to much to list and I do have all reciepts for the build. It also has a rebuilt transmission. I have over $5,000 in the engine alone. I have dropped the price but am firm on $5,000 but cash talks. This is a real eye catcher and get many complements every time I drive it.
