Curious to why you love your MC. Im a car enthusiast and want to get the skinny on why you chose your Monte. I love the early models, my buddy had a primer gray 80's model that was fun as hell. It smelt like unburnt gas and could light the tires on command. Its the newer models that I'm trying to understand. Is it a NASCAR thing? How are they better than say a Mustang or Impala? Just wondering. Thanks.

i suspect that those here love their cars for the same reason as other car enthusiasts. i admit that when i was car shopping i was jsut lookin for a car to get me from A to B and do it whenever i needed it to...but as soon as i drove the car i fell in love with it...its sleek look, versatile engine, room for my friends and of course the looks i get from a few of the opposite sex , they just got my blood flowing and since then i havent wanted nething else

as for what makes the monte better, every car enthusiast thinks that their car is better than the others...personally (and i may get shunned for this) i do like the mustangs as well...would i sell my car to buy one? no i wouldnt but if i had the oppertunity to own one i would take it and yes nascar has definitely had a pull on my mind...i am not a huge fan but to c the car i own fly around the track at such speeds just gets my heart goin

and our cars can still light up the tires on command (at least mine can)...just ask to c it lol

1) i love how my car looks.
2) i love how my car drives
3) i have a history with my car. my dad bought it brand new in 1998 and it was the first car i drove with after i got my license. i've put it into a ditch, i've had some "fun" with girls in it. we go a long way back.
4) i'm a monte carlo enthusiast. i love all of em. i sold my 2003 saturn ion to buy this car. it only had 70000km on it. this car is closer to 215000 km. and alot less fuel effecient. and i don't regret it for one bit.

 

Im not really in the market for a car right now. Quite fond of the one I'm driving now. Just trying to see the enthusiast side of the car.
