Molding has to be done perfectly too, because I've seen many molded on scoops crack around the edges over time. If I ever go that route, I'll buy a whole hood like Blazed SS.

agreed. i did it on my 80 and it cracked. granted that cars motor has a lot of vibration, and the hood wasnt insulated, but its a bad idea. you should probably get a metal scoop and weld it on.

Exactly what I was going to say.

The way I look at it, if you're going to have scoops on the hood, they should at least be functional. Otherwise you have a big bump on the hood that interrupts the flow of air over your car.
