I think the only minivan (if you wanna call it that) I would be guilty of customizing would be a chevy astro... but no import stuff like what's seen on that caravan... a LT or LS and a nice rear end... nice B)

hahahaha yep gotta love carlisle. after one show i'm hooked! i know my dad told me that back in the late 70's when he had his '70 challanger R/T he also had a '70 challanger parts car that was a slant six car, buckets, console, and of all things a factory luggage rack! his R/T was an oddity too, being a 440 6 pack car but with factory A/C, power windows, power locks, rally wheels, power disc brakes and bucket seats & console with the slapstick auto.

I go almost every year, but I probably won't make it this year. I've been off work since December with my hand injury and those weekend vacation slots (Chrysler and GM) will probably already be full and they won't let me off. Also, the Monte Nationals are the same weekend as the GM show, and they're located close to each other. I may be able to attend these shows on Friday, but unfortunately the big day at Carlisle is Saturday. I am in the process of searching for a job with weekends off, so you never know. My current job is all weekends, all the time, with days off during the week. I HATE it. They forced me into the weekend shift, otherwise I would have had to quit or be fired.

I'm about 80 miles away, to the west of Carlisle. I'll try to make it down for a few of the shows on Fridays if I'm still working the weekend shift. I haven't been to the spring swap meet in years, but I could come down Friday and say hi. My goal has been to make it down on Saturday for every show, but with my kids playing soccer and me now working weekends, I still haven't achieved it.

Yes it does every year, but this year they are only a few miles apart, some people are going to be doing both, however I know the NYMCC, the FGMCC, along with a buncha peeps from PA, NJ,Boston and the Northeast will be going to the GM Nationals exclusively.
