Default HID Help

Hey everyone, my 35w DDM tuning bulbs came in the mail the other day and i went to hook them up today. plugged in the ballast, hooked up the bulb, turned the lights on and nothing. Checked the wiring, switched ballast, switched bulbs, nothing Plugged my normal bulb back in, works fine. So before i go ape s*** on DDM i just want to make sure i'm doing it correctly. I followed the instructions for the 9006 installation too. Any help will be apreciated.

It should be a plug and play deal. The wire's from the car go to the ballast and the ballast wires go to the hid bulbs. The only other thing I can think of is maybe you need an additional wire harness that goes directly to the battery.

*professor farnsworth voice* good news everyone, i got the headlights working properly. It was a polarity issue at the connection between the ballast and the cars plug. I plugged it in the way it snapped in and i guess that was wrong. Plugged it in the way it doesn't snap and they work, bad design IMO. Taped the connection up with electrical tape and both lights are working, waiting for darkness now Thanks for the help guys

I was going to suggest checking polarity of the wires that plug into the stock head light connector but Justin beat me to it. Glad you got them working, professor.

That extra wire to the battery is only for the 55w I believe.

Glad you got them working!

Just came back from a test drive and holy crap what a difference i'll put the pics here and in my mod topic. Honestly pictures dont do em justice, they're so much brighter than my old low beams and even better than my high's except they dont have the range that high beams do.

First off is the standard halogen high beam for comparison. (i plan to get HID high's as well)

Now the HID low beam 35w 5000k
