I don't understand her logic though, I feel any mod you can do that makes the car safer and look better is a good mod regardless if it's a factory option or not.

 

I personally dont have a problem with it. I mean seriously, how many people know what light options came on every vehicle produced so most people wouldnt even notice the lights for that fact, just notice them for how great they look.

 

See and that's what I think too. But she thinks it's "janky" when someone does it...I don't understand it.

Sounds like the mentality of a "my car is the means by which I get from point A to point B" type of person. My wife is like that too. It frustrates the hell out of me. I hit her with: "You weren't born with diamond studs in your ears, they were upgraded later on." or "That new french-manicure sure is a nice aftermarket upgrade!" or "Those crystals on your cell phone weren't a factory option either."
