Default HID color temperature

At some point down the road I'm thinking of getting HID's, but I need to know what color temperature I should get. I want them to be bright, but still be noticeably blue. The ones on ZZPerformance are 6000K, about how much of a blue color would those have?

I think you will like the 6000k's. The color gets bluer the higher the number goes and yellower the lower it goes. I think like 4300 is the whitest you can get before it turns yellowbut they are pure white and kind of obnoxiously bright. The 6000 is in the middle, it will be bright but still have the blue tint to it.

Here is a pic I found on the internet. This might help you make your decision.

Ok thanks, guys. I want that good balance between blueness and brightness, I think 8000K looks about right, so I think I will probably go with those when I do get them. But ZZPerformance only has 6000K, so is there another good place to get HID's at a good price (I want to get both the normal driving lightsand thebrights, so maybe a place that sells both sets together)?
