Default Hi-pitched whine when turning

First thing In the mornings when the engine is cold, I get a pretty good whine sound when I turn right. It goes away when the car warms up. Started a week ago.

Any ideas? Power steering, wheel bearings, transmission, idle pulley?

The first thing to check is the power steering, check your fluid level and make sure it isn't dry or low and you might also want to check to make sure this fluid is clean.
Then you can do the appropriate service.

I would suspect the belt before the PS Fluid if it's only while the engine is cold.

Thank you both for the reply. The PS fluid was low. I added some fluid yesterday. We'll see how it goes. This morning my son turned on the radio and by the time I remembered to listen, the engine was warm.

Why on earth is the PS access below the alternator? I't a pain to get at.
