Hi-pitched whine when turning
First thing In the mornings when the engine is cold, I get a pretty good whine sound when I turn right. It goes away when the car warms up. Started a week ago.
Any ideas? Power steering, wheel bearings, transmission, idle pulley?

Thank you both for the reply. The PS fluid was low. I added some fluid yesterday. We'll see how it goes. This morning my son turned on the radio and by the time I remembered to listen, the engine was warm.
Why on earth is the PS access below the alternator? I't a pain to get at.
