Yes. Wish they would have used that trans behind the L67 and the LS4 motors. Would make for alot less problems while modding.

I still don't know why they didn't use that Transmission in the Monte SS.

In ur price range I would say 04 CTS-V 425 Horses, GTO Or G8 GT !

Im thinking size. The 4t80 is much larger than the 4t65. I think they probably couldnt get it to fit in the cradle as well as it did in the larger cars.

Sorry for thread jacking, ill shut up now, lol.

Links? your looking at 20k+ for a CTS or G8.

Okay guys, a new job means I should be able to get a new to me car sooner and spend more. Here is my updated criteria.

1. 2008 or newer
2. avalible for under $20000 @ 75k or less miles
3. Not a Monte
4. 250+ HP
5. Not Honda, Toyota, FoMoCo or Chrysler
6. No timing belt
7. Available with auto trans (physical handicap)
8. Fun to drive, but also a reliable daily driver.
9. Decent in the snow

Next year I'm going to get a v6 Camaro. Either a left-over 2012 or a 2013 if I can't find a leftover anymore.

Fits all of your criteria

If you get the base model LS (although you need an auto), they can be had for around $21k

V6 camaro such a waste, you can get a V6 G8 for 20k with about 45-50k miles on em

agreed. i mean to each there own, but they really arent cool and everyone that owns one thinks theyre the man.

Exactly, its the same with any sports car that has a cheap v6 base model
