The plug is from your washer bottle pump. By the picture I assume your washer bottle is no longer located there. That would explain why there isnt anything for the plug to plug into. I believe the first picture is of the vacuum modulator. You were having transmission problems werent you? If the vacuum line wont stay on the modulator, it might explain your trans problems. Just a thought.

..Thanks Mod `Matt as always for your help to member's.
I will cease my search for pictures of the engine & it's attachments...

I think a Repair Manual would be a great investment for `Kane...I hope he gets it running good...

thanks matt. i feel kinda dumb now because i forgot all about having a washer bottle in my car. i took it out when i first got it because it had a crack in it. i guess time just washes away memory lol. and about the trans problems, i took it to a friend of my dads bc he works on transmissons and he said its the 3-2 downshift soleniod or something. all i know is that we replaced a fuse the other day and unplugged the cruise control and it ran perfect til a few hours later. it wasnt blowing fuses but it was completely melting them but it should be up and running by tuesday

Until then you might check out your local library. Sounds kind of odd but our little home town library has several manuals, think someone probably donated a collection... it is worth a try.
