Those are Med/Dark tint but as you can see they look really dark, but still fully functional

I would love to see this option get stuck to the on position for those living in the southern states. TSB coming out soon.

You cannot get a heated steering wheel on a Monte Carlo in any year!! Not a highline type model to have something like this.

I have no idea why anyone would want this option - just wear gloves.

No heated steering wheel mentioned in the '07 sales brochure.

GPD,
Did you know the LTZ models were NOT suppose to have body color rockers. The '06 sales brochure says they're not available on the LTZ.

RJ, thanks for pointing that out, I'll have to look it up.. Are you sure they weren't referring to the body color sporty rocker panels?

ANd yes, I would LOVE a heated steering wheel... I get tired of having to swap the coffee from one hand to the other as they get cold, lol.

Probably a way to add it aftermarket. won't look as cool, but I'm guessing it's still doable with a steering wheel cover. I just hate to cover the leather.

I will say leather is much better than Vinyl like in my 03 LS... warms up quicker and doesn't get your hands as cold, as quick.

yeah... i've never heard of an aftermarket sterring wheel heater... but then again, i live in the south where it isn't as needed. there are some mornings where i would love to have this option.. but maybe 10-15 a year or so. of coruse, if its aftermarket you can take it off for the summer

In the same article, the writer mentioned turn-by-turn directions on the radio display from ON-STAR.

Is this still true?

I think they meant from the onstar voice. They put you on some computer thing, so it's not interactive, but I don't think the directions would appear on the screen, only by voice. "Left turn in point one miles, Left turn in point zero five miles..." etc etc
