I got mine on ebay as an open box item for about $20... Just gotta keep an eye out. Used ones seem to pop up quite a bit on eBay.

I tinted my tails and reverse lights and third brake light with VHT NiteShades. Much cheaper than covers. But no, they don't make tinted back up lights. You have to tint those yourself

I was going to suggest VHT Niteshades also. Comes in a spray can. You can find it at most auto parts stores. Where they sell the tinting, or in the spray paint aisle.

I personally find the covers to be horrifically plasticy looking and bulky. They just look like covers! The nightshades would be very cheap, effective, and all you need to do is use a quick YouTube video explaining the process.

Take note, however, that modifying the brake/reverse lights by tinting would make you liable for the cause of an accident if you were to ever to get rear-ended or back into something because they become less visible. I'm not sure if putting covers on them would also make you liable.

You can open the headlights or taillights to make it possible to tint the inside.

Spray tint and covers can both make you liable if you're in an accident, although with tint, if you don't make them too dark you're better off. Headlight and tail light covers can be considered illegal depending on where you live and the same goes with tint spray.

I have some headlight covers for sale if you're interested, they need some work but they're in good overall condition, they just need some buffing and possibly sanding (depending on the color of your car)

You can send me a PM or email me at: red04montels@gmail.com

I used niteshades on mine as well. 2 coats on tails, 3 on B/U.
