Not Quite, I did not change over to LID. I can say I love the look though. I bought the OEM chrome inside, but they actually came looking lightly smoked.

Yea the entire light (both) look a little smoked.. Even the side markers.. Looks a little better than stock IMO.. I painted mine few months or so back but plan on buying new ones (black housing) very soon..

I'm needing to do something with my '03 headlights, they are getting cloudy on the top edge of each light. I put Sylvania Ultra low beam bulbs and they really made a difference. My question is has anyone had success with a restoration kit or are they a waist of time and money. money.
Thanks

They work, but if you are experiencing those issues, then the factory coating is starting to give. You'll clean it all up and remove the rest of the coating, but it will just become bad again in no time.

If you are keeping the car for a longer time period, full replacement is preferred over those kits.

Chibi says it a little nicer but yea those restoration kits are garbage, more of a get your money gimmick.. You kinda scrub all the corrode off then theres like an oil type substance left over that makes the lens look clear.. The haze comes back in no time.. Ive tried several different kinda on a few different cars..

Seriously you can get a new set of headlights on ebay for the price of some of them restoration kits.
