ok so in the process of installing my new black headlights, i noticed that i only have 3 of the white plastic clips that hold the headlights in on a 6th gen monte, and i broke 2 of those 3 lol, it was like 20 degrees outside and even in my garage the plastic was cold and very brittle, so i was just hoping that someone would know if i canbut them somewhere...whether at a dealer or an auto parts store....or would i be better off at a junk yard??

i hope you guys know what im talking about, they are lil white plastic clips that go behind the headlights and hold them in

 

not sure if you can buy them at a store.but jusnk yard is your best option..free....i have 2 extra ones if you have a hard time fiding them

I assume you're talking about the white plastic clip like the one in the pic.

I'd try the junkyard first. The clip from other models may fit also if they don't have a good Monte front end in the yard.

Don't go to the stealership for that. You should be able to find enough to replace your broken ones. Heck Manny already offered you 2.

Hey, Manny...not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but, how did you come by your '06/'07 spoiler? I want one for mine as well. Was thinking about trying the junkyard.

 

hi BIGG J .i got it from a member on here that was parting out a 06 monte i was lucky enough to buy it for a good price all i had to do was paint it

 

Ive been driving without the clip in mine. Hope my headlight stays in lol.
