Default Is he CRAZY?!

So I drive past this poor Intimidator Edition every Sunday on my way to my parents house. My fiance and I decided to stop by and ask if they were thinking bout parting it out or anything or what their plans were to do with it.

He said he wasn't parting it out. The only way he is getting rid of the car is selling it as is for $3,000 no less. Here is the link to accident pics from the local fire department.

He is emotionally attached to the car. I guess he doesn't realize that sentimental value means nothing to potential buyers... Kind of sad.

There is nothing wrong with the interior (but idk now cuz when we looked at it they ripped the plastic so we could see the interior and never covered it back up till recently and we got some bad storms through here, flooding tornado warnings 60-70 mph winds, so who knows what the interior might look like now) trunk, the passenger side is 98% untouched; no damage to that side, all 4 wheels are in good condition as well and the engine. The only thing we saw cosmetically just lookin at it for a very short time is the obvious damage and the dash is cracked, and I think the moonroof is cracked/bent as well.

it kind of sounds like he is atatched to it but also sounds like he is looking for anouther one to transfer majority of what he has on it to anouther. there is some thing missing on what was said he probably got a new trans and done alot of tlc before the accedent and probably still in shock about it.

He's definitely insane.
Aren't there laws preventing you from having a broke down vehicle in your property?
or something to do with tags.
He's got a bunch of goodies in there, shame shame.
