Happy 8th Birthday! I used to go to Lattoff Chevrolet to have my 01 Monte serviced.
They had a 02 SS Dale Earnhardt edition for sale in the used lot back in 2003 that I kept going back and looking at. (I ended up going with the standard SS but wished I picked it up).

That was a great little dealership, kind of small but family owned for years and years. So sorry they had to close up shop a few years back.

 

Ya I really miss them - I haven't found another Chevrolet dealership I like as well. On occasion I go to Libertyville Chevrolet (used to be Berndard Chevrolet) to get service, but now they are soliciting me for my trade in - Lattoff never did that.

 

I haven't really found a replacement myself. I keep alternating between Castle (Villa Park) and Hoskins (Elk Grove). I never really understood the buy back my car offer. Buy back my Monte so I can purchase a new Aveo? I don't think so!

 

A very happy birthday indeed. Man he is a sweet lookin Monte!!! Like yours mines also sitting in storage which means my garage so I get to go and check on him everyday.

 

I really burned them (Libertyville) when they called the other day - they were asking if I wanted to trade my Monte in - assuming my 05. I go no you probably wouldn't want my 05. And she's like sure we would. And I said, not with 80k miles on it - all you are going to do is turn around and auction it off. That shut her up quickly.
