those are the right bulbs 04.
9006 i belive are the high beam and the 9005 are the low beams but i know those are the right numbers might have the placment turned around .

Have a kid here in teh club that was having this same issue on his S-10 truck he bought to high beam bulbs of the supper blues and then modifyed the base of one for it would fit in the low beam slot. they work great but like he said if you hit the high beams there had better be noone in front of you or you will blind them all 4 come on then.

My big thing is the fog lights over here were gettign to that time of year where you need them and not just to look kool LOL

so i am up for any ideas right now that wont fry my wireing or harm the houseings in any way

hey im up to heqaring about your idea 04, those are the right bulbs.

As far as why i want to replace them all with HID instead of just the low beams.

I cant see doing one with one type then the other with the factory system if i do it i would rather just do the whole front end. not to mention if i can i would like to get the dlr's to a point where i can defeatt hem with out having to change a bunch of wiering in the dash etc. I dont c are for them and the fog lights are not brite enough to do anythign for you in heavy fog. I live in Germany if you have ever been here thier idea of a light fog is like what we call pea soup over in the states i live out in the country in a small town and at nighyt comming home with the fog it is so bad at times your doing 10mph on a hwy that is for 80-130klm (50-80mph)
and those who do have better lights have almost hit me several times becuse they can see and i cant.
just would rather have something that will cut threw it better,
then i will get some of those overlays that are tinted vinal and i can change them to yellow so they have a contrast with out cuttign to much light out.
they have a whole kit for our cars with that vinal for all of the lights also. but they want like 50.00Us for it. but you can take it off with no effects to the lights them selves

just do the high to low conversion like your buddy did. I did that on my Accord using Nokya Arctic white bulbs and the difference was very noticeable, I loved it. Didn't have any issues w/fried wiring harnesses or headlight housings either. I ran it like that for a year or so.

im thinking that is what i might be doing for it . Im looking for those bulbs like the hyper blues but they are pruprel so they have a contrast on teh road at night.

When i find a set of those that are in the right size i think it will be a done deal.
I have drove his at night and there is a hudge diffrence that way in the lighting at night.

Now if i can just figure out the whole fog light thing LOL

talked tot he sponser today he has theses lights in his shopa dn his car and swears by them So i will be getting a set for mine to i think. He didnt have the puprel in or i would have looked real hard at gettign them today.

next thing is the fog lights LOL For got the number for them so i will have to do some looking for a light that will fit in them and make it briter right now they are worthless but look better then the ones with out them in it at all.

Speaking of witch 04
talked to the guy in our club he said he cut his front bumper with a xatco blade around them front and rear and then just pushed them out . then he went to the bone yard and got the regular light houseings and switch off the dash said they should all plug right in for you just have to cut the front bumper part his dash had the space already there for it and the wires were in the back of the block off plate So good luck bud sounds pretty simpel for the most part.,
he did say becfareful cutting around them so you dont get in to the paint you want to keep other then that they were real easy to cut for the most part. then he used touch up paint to match the cut edge to match the bumper just incase you would see it after the houseing were put in place but he said he didnt see where you would if they fit in there right. So i hope that helps ya soem on that oen.
