I like the plate. I didn't even notice the lines on the plate cover until you mentioned it.

Hi `Amy,
I love your new Plate & also the Custom Frame.
My grandfather had the same frame on his Corvette & they come in various colors "His was BLACK"
Those little black caps that hide the plates screws
seem lose, but they stay in : )
They also keep your plate clean & the rubber seal behind the plate
keep the water/mositure `out : )
I also like your choice of Illinois Plates.
Thanks 4 posting/sharing

I like it, but agree (don't like) about the horizontal lines across the plate.

I bought some white frames for my car but the color didn't match. I went to the local parts store and bought a can of DupliColor Perfect Match paint and a can of their Clear Coat. They now match the car and (imo) look a lot better. You may want to consider doing the same if you want your frames to match the color of the car. Just a thought...

Thanks guys. I can't paint the red cause it's under the clear plastic, it's one piece and like space said it has a rubber seal to prevent moisture to get inside.

I will probably be getting rid of the plate frame cause it's illegal in IL to have any cover over the plate. And with the lines going across it's totally noticeable. WeatherTech makes one just like it but with out the clear cover.
