got hit

Default got hit

so a lady backed into me yesturday. only a scratch but she hit the rear driver side tire. what possible damages could happen?

Well allignment may be messed up pretty good. Check everythin under there for and bends or such. Could have messed up the wheel bearing too. *if the rear wheels have bearings idk *

thanks. i'm going to take it to a shop when i get some cash next week. i was driving off and let go of the steering wheel and it was still going straight. no strange noises so far

Make sure your trailing arm isnt bent... if you have the stock ones on, they bend easily, do to GM's lacking ability to put a solid bar on in the first place lol

Chances are your alignment is off at a minimum!
Hope for the best. Expect the worst.

I hope it's nothing but a bump.

thanks for the input. how much does it normally cost to just check alignment? i stay in cali and i think alot of the shops closed today. none of my sensors is on or anything either

but when they are bent there easier to bend back than a solid bar lol i had to bend mine back into place

just look under the car on that side usually u can tell if its bent or not, unless she hit u hard u shouldnt have too much damage

thanks again. nothing looked out of place or damaged. again i appreciate the responses. i'm getting my brakes done so i guess i'll ask them to check see if they notice something my untrained eye didnt

If it hit the actual wheel, I would want to check the wheel for cracks too. Probably fine. But a friend of mine's Dodge Avenger got hit and the alignment shop found cracks between the bolt holes and the center of the wheel.
