Default Goodbye Monte.

I have nobody to blame for this but myself. I was zoned out while driving and hesitated while a lady two cars ahead of me slammed on her brakes to let a car out of a gas station into traffic. I rear ended a Dodge Journey into a Chevy Cruze. My next car will either be a GTP or a Cobalt SS, any thoughts? I don't think I could own another Monte, it just wouldn't be the same.

P.S. really wish I didn't pay $300 to get my bumper painted two weeks ago.

Damn! Hope your okay man! At least you're posting here so you must not be too injured. I wish you the best in finding a new ride. Not sure what I would pick between a Cobalt or a GTP...

I would recommend getting what you want. Both are pretty different beasts.

The problem is I cannot decide what I want! Grrrr. The GTP seems to be much more reliable and I already have a cam for it, but the Cobalt SS is a growing market and a manual which would be very exciting. Plus it gets better gas mileage. They both are sharp, but the Cobalt seems to be a little more expensive to mod

The cobalt is newer so it is going to be more expensive to mod. R&D is still very much in the costs of the parts.

The W-Body platform is so dated and modded that it's pretty easy to grab cheap parts.

TC or SC cobalt?

That sucks man, glad you're okay.

I would get a Cobalt, those things are nice sleepers and they're quick with a Turbo
