Default Good Place For OEM Parts

Just thought i'd share my findings. I've been looking for / pricing OEM spark plugs, and OEM wires, plus tons of other things for my 100,000 mile tune up.

The dealer wanted $128 for my wire set, and $7.99 per spark plug for my plugs.

I found this website www.oempartsgarage.com they have lots of OEM/ OEM replacement parts, with great prices. Plus no tax, and FREE shipping when you spend $75 or more.

I got my AC Delco wire set for $63.00, and plugs for $5.63 each. All genuine AC Delco.

I knew about that site though I have never ordered from them. I use www.rockauto.com quite a bit and is where I bought most of my tuneup stuff for my 2004. I also have used www.gmpartsdirect.com quite a bit in the past. Their prices are usually pretty good but sometimes their shipping is outrageous.

I checked Pepboys, and they only had their own brand of wires "pro-select" or something like that.

And I've never heard that NGK and Ac Delco were the same plugs. Ac Delco is an American made plug, and NGK's are Japaneese?????

I also have used www.gmpartsdirect.com quite a bit in the past.
I've used them myself. Got a new upper grille for my '06 Monte LTZ from them. I think I paid $60 shipped for the grille?

I've also bought from Autoanything. So far no complaints.

Prices at GMPartsDirect are great. Their customer service, shipping fees, and shipping times suck!

I ordered the door sills through GMPD on December 27th, and just got them in mail yesterday 1/21/2010. Sorry, that is rediculous. And they charged me $18.00 for standard ground shipping on an item that weighs like .5 LBS, with the box, MAYBE 3 LBS.

I'm not going to say I will never order for GMPD again, but I will say I am not impressed with them.
