12' Mustang v6, 30 mpg highway, and 300 HP. If it was me, I wouldn't look back and get the mustang.

The new Mustangs are nice - I test drove the new GT. Mustangs however suck for winter driving. But in SC you probably don't have to worry about snow very often.

if i had the money i'd be all over a new 2013 mustang. Love the new styling, v6 has some power and good fuel efficiency and it sounds good doing it

gotta say after i sold my intimidator, i got my buddies '00 mustang gt manual. love the power, hated the cheap material and terrible humvee related gas mileage. if i do end up getting the gto, its gonna be manual. automatic wont do

I have a 2004 intimidator. I can get up to 32 mpg highway if I stay out of the gas and never really let the supercharger kick in. I average 25 because I floor it everywhere I go but I drive easy on the way back home. Id say buy a 3.9 powered monte or a supercharged 3.8 the l67 you can get to 300 horse without hurting gas mileage.

And why get a mustang. Everyone has one. And in highschool what did all the popular girls drive? v6 mustangs. Do you want to drive the same car as most 16 year old girls? If thats what you want go ahead and get a bright yellow v6 mustang and hang a pink lay off the mirror. If you go foreign it will have high upkeep. Honestly for economy/power just work with what you got. They barely made any monte carlos in 06. It will probably be collectable in the long run. Throw a turbo on it get the power you want it wont hurt gas mileage and it will be cheaper then buying a new car.
