Default a good monte carlo trade off?

hey guys, its been awhile since i've been on here. i have a 2006 monte carlo lt right now. right now i need you guys to help me out with this question: what would be a good monte carlo trade off? i've had 5 monte carlos till date. i need something with a little more horses but still able to make it throught these gas prices. i've looked at gto's, camaros, firebirds, bmw's but i just cant instantly connect to any of em as much as i love all those cars. HEEEELP!!! im on craigslist 24/7 like a fiend lol

I thought he had a l67 at one time? Now if its int eh price range have you ever thought of the Monte SS with the v8 or maybe a g8 with a v8 or heck even a grand prix with the v8? They're all GM cars and I personally like all of them I would love to have a G8

lol i was looking for something in the 300hp range. i believe the 2004 gto's had the closest "homely feel" to the montes, almost same body style, more horses, rwd, and i dunno better aftermarket probably.

Love those cars, Just a little sid enote all the v8 cars I mentioned are in the 300s not sure about the G8 but I think the monte and grand prix with the v8s are 303hp although none of them are rwd but if you're not driving it in winter that shouldnt be a problem

My only thought is, horsepower and fuel economy dont mix well... You usually get one or the other.

hahaha i kinda figured that, thats why im looking at the 2004 gto cuz the gas mileage is fairly good in comparison with my monte right now. the 2005/06 gto's gas mileage: not so much
