7th Gen ('06-'07): General questions about 7th gen stereo system.
Hello all,
I have a few awnsers I am hunting for, I've been searching this forum, but nothing appears to be all inclusive, and even some information that seems incorrect on one post etc.
So,
Our headunit, does anyone know the Watt output and Ohms to the front speakers ?
Our rear amp deck, does anyone know the output for the high's and lows, watts/ohms ?
Also, I know that our rear amp deck is a bi amplified type of system. So we would need to find a speaker that would match the same watts and ohms if you plan on keeping the rear amp deck.
So my goal is to upgrade my rear speakers, but I'm really not what speakers will work with ours as I don't have the above information
Any help would be great, Thanks,

If you're looking at aftermarket speakers, then you really don't have any options on impedance. Nearly all of the aftermarket replacements are 4 ohms.
As far as power, that's something else I wouldn't be too worried about as long as you're buying good quality speakers. The factory amplifier is tiny, and output isn't anywhere near something like a big aftermarket 4 channel amp would be. Any good quality aftermarket speakers will be able to hold up no problem.
