Default Gauge install Help?

Hey,

Im going to install new gauges in the 04. There gonna be on the A-pillar. One is the AeroForce gauge which plugs right into the OBDII port. The others are trans temp and Volts. Trying to find the correct wires to tap into is a PITA and ZZP sells their "power drop harness". Only question i have is, where does the harness plug in?

If you got any other ideas or tips, that would be great!

Thanks,

Chuck

I have a trans temp and volt gauge in my dash. SW gauges. Not sure where the drop plugs into, but I'm guessing the fuse box. E-mail them, or even call them.

My tranny temp sensor is on top of the tranny, using the diagnostic port. 1/8 npt plug there.

I saw your tranny gauge install and that inspired me to do mine, but i got sidetracked and it got cold out. Im bored now so im gonna give it another shot. If i dont do something to make this car "mine" im gonna get really bored with it and trade it in, i dont really want to do that, i love this car!

My gauge cluster uses 1 1/2" SW gauges, but they are no longer made. I'd go with the A-pillar pod as you are. We have the Aeroforce gauges in LadyT's 07 Solstice GXP. You can't go wrong with the combo you are headed with! GREAT choice!

Thanks, I cant wait to get back on this project.

I emailed ZZP and am waiting for their reply.

Im going to use the 2 1/16 auto meter sport comp chevy gauges for the trans and volt.

I am not 100%, if it did, it usually plugs in under the dash on the Passenger side behind the glovebox.
