will do, the rotors aren't getting here until monday, and the rebuild kit's at the post office. I'm just doing a little prep here and there until things arrive.

I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

Here's some pics, as promised. I'm going to be continuing this build in a new thread [INSERT LINK HERE] . I'll do this with each of my subsequent projects, so this thread doesn't get overloaded with pics.

Excuse the dirty floor, brake fluid likes dirt.

After speaking with a few people about my plans (the brake conversion, specifically). I feel that it is appropriate to insert a disclaimer about this portion of my project in both this thread and my new thread [This thread (as all threads made by user Scott_S) is meant to be informative, and accurate to my knowledge. That said, I provide no warranty to my guides, expressed, implied, or otherwise.
There is no warranty at all. It is meant for information, or education purposes only. By allowing this post (and brake thread) to persist MCF agrees to not hold user Scott_S responsible for any injuries to anyone (member or not) who attempts the brake conversion in the following article.
however, if you need additional "educational" information, please do not hesitate to PM me. I will honestly reply, and not with a lawyer-esque tone. I really hate to have to post this disclaimer, but frankly I dont want my pants sued off.].

I'm only doing this to cover my ***. I don't think that any of you would stoop so low as to sue me for a failed install on your end. I do, however, know that my posts (including these) can be viewed by non-members. I don't want sued because entitled brat didn't do all of their homework before pursuing this mod and got hurt, or worse hurt someone else. In short, I don't want "mommy" suing me, my family, or this site. Glad that's off my chest.

Also this week, I should be completing my seat install.
Here's a stock pic of them cause I'm too lazy to go take one of mine.

Well, I can cross the CAI off the list now. For now I did a simple fernco with some aluminum tube I had lying around, and a AEM dry filter. Gonna polish it up this summer, and maybe plastidip the ferncos red.

I just have to get a bungie and bubble insulator wrap for the pcm. Yea I'm cheap

I went behind the headlight and into the corner of the bumper cover.
Better throttle response now. I had to go a little hard on the accelerator before cause of a slight hesitation, that's gone now !

Next move will be to ditch the accordion rubber piece, probably only after I get a larger TB, though.

I think my neighbors here are getting amused by me tinkering with my car so much lately. It keeps me out of trouble.

I saw that, I'll just fab my own when I get time, theirs literally just looks like sheet metal. I'm going to fiberglass some stuff this summer, I can make a one off tray that blends in.

Car update: the f-body upgrade feels great, I like it more everyday. I'm getting a little more pedal movement, I think I just need to rebleed the brakes on level ground. During my emergency brake overhaul I only had access to a sloped driveway, I guarantee there's air somewhere. It still has less pedal than stock.

My focus is moving towards the interior now. Gotta finish installing the tiburon seats and document it. I get the looks driving around with two different front seats, and no backseats or carpet / headliner. Oh well, that's the life of a car modder, when your project suddenly becomes DD.
Good news, the passenger tiburon fits great, nice and low, giving me my head room back. Bad news, it was a tough mock up, not a simple bolt in, though I LOVE the manual tracks, feels like a monte should. Kinda sporty/tunerish. I'm not 100 percent sure it's perfectly straight. It's a simple fix, I'm sure. Pics of it to come. Sticking with my black and gray scheme, no I;m not a raiders fan...

to do:
straighten pass seat (I think my eyes are tricking me, esp w/ curved dash),
install driver
install rear (It's gonna be a roomier 4 seater now, really who squeezes five in a monte?? Not me.)
recover headliner
install black carpet
convert interior panels to match black/gray colors scheme. Luckily most panels were available both colors stock.

Quick question to the smokers out there: How the heck do you get the residue off your windows. I've never been able to get the PO's cigarette residue off the damn windows, I;ve tried everything. windex, odoban, alcohol. Everything streaks that disgusting crap around, but doesn't remove it. Never buying a smokers car again, EVER.

Try Goo Gone to clear up the windows, followed by Windex. Usually Windex, a bunch of paper towels, and some elbow grease will clean it right up.

Got it cleaned up with vinegar. Left water marks, so I gotta hit it with window cleaner when Pennsylvania decides to not be the rainy pacific northwest...
