Fuel question...

Most gas comes from the same place, the Branded Stations have to buy a percentage of their gas from their companies, but it flows thru the Williams Brothers Pipeline for the center of the Country, they don't keep it seperate, it enters at the gulf, one you put in you can take out at any of the terminals along the line, it is like a bank the actual dollar you put in is not kept and returned to you, you get a dollar back, yes, but not the same one. The different brands push their additives. Most important is the storage tanks at the station you refuel at, if there are contaminets in the storage tank that will most likely be a problem you will get from fuel. I don't fuel at a station that is receiving fuel from a transport, the dumping in of the fuel stirs any sediment in the bottom of the tank. Water in the tanks can also be a problem.
I used to sell gas to service stations thru the pipeline, same gas.
Additives and advertising are the main difference between branded and unbranded. We were independent and we sold a small percentage to the branded stations as well, in their contract determins what they have to buy.

Honestly when I did the work on my car and have it tuned for 93 now, I was like OH NO HIGHER PRICES.
But in reality it's maybe 2 extra dollars per fill-up. It's a lot better paying $2 than chipping pistons and ruining your engine.

Yea Brit you really NEED to be running Premium in your car because its the Supercharged. It really is not that much figure on empty you will take 16-18 gallons depending on how empty you really are...premium is usually about .20 cents for than Regular...so your looking at $3.20-$3.60 extra per tank of gas...that not really that much.
We can't get 93 octane gas in CA...91 is the highest available!
