Just got the Monte back from the dealership yesterday. I took it in to have the front worked on since it was littered with stone chips and looking pretty horrible. I was getting sick of looking at it all the time so I finally decided it was a good time to put the money towards having this done now instead of a few other things I was considering. Dealership did a great job.

Had the front repainted from the windshield forward, license plate bracket removed, new upper grille and ground effect insert installed, and fog bezels painted black.

Now I'm highly considering having the 3M clear auto bra film installed on the front of the car.

looks great, my front looks like crap also, rock chips all over......... I hate to be rude and ask......... but how much was the hood repaint? I was thinking about a $1000 to do my hood and all the other rock chips..........

 

Cost me $1000 to have everything done that I listed above in my initial post, and that's about what I was expecting. Paint-wise, they stripped and resprayed the hood, resprayed the fenders and blended back into the rest of the car, and resprayed the bumper cover. Front looks new again. I already had a new upper grille that I picked up a few years ago, which I gave to them to install, so that part cost isn't included in the total.

Thanks for letting me know, I was figuring about that, and I think that's a pretty decent price. I had my car in a few shows and that is the worst feeling when you have all those chips in it......
