I know this isn't Monte related , But I drove my 1940 chevy to Evansville In
sat. for Frog Follies.. Nice Show over 3,600 pre 1948 ..

Now this had to be one of the coolest collections of vintage cars in one spot I have ever seen. You caught some pretty sweet cars in your photographs for sure. It was well worth your trip in my opinion. Really difficult to actually pick a favorite one out of all these. Would hate to be put in the position to judge one to be the best over all the others.

drove to Evansville In. got to the 4-H fairgrounds at 6:30am
Chevy ran fine has a 350/300hp crate engine from chevy dealer..
I left for home at 12:30pm got home at 3:09pm..
my speedo say's I drove 336 miles sat.

That should have burned the carbon out of your "350"
Great to read that you had a safe/trouble`free trip
You even found a super shaded place 4 your Chevy
