If it is a V6, just walk away. If it is a V6 and an auto trans, run away.

I got my truck in January too lol the rust dosent look bad to me how are the strut towers?

Not sure lol.. But we just had the rear struts replaced not too long ago.

Unless the rust just stays in that spot, if that's th case then no it wont be that bad, but for some reason I have this image stuck in my head of it ending up like this

Theres ways to prevent that kind of stull, but I really dont see it getting that bad so easily.

If you ignored your issues for over a year and drove all winter in salt without ever washing I could see that getting worse.

In all honesty, your rust issue looks very minor compared to what I've seen on other Montes. I will admit it can be very hard to see that rust everyday. I'm thankful that I have none on the body but of course there's plenty underneath.

Best of luck with your vehicle search. If you can get your asking price for your Monte I'd say go ahead and do it but seeing how you've just bought new wheels I'd probably just hang onto your Monte now and purchase a different vehicle later on. You haven't even had time to fully enjoy your Monte Carlo yet

I think I'm ending my vehicle search, because I've found something to please my speed appetite at a reasonable price.. $2500
