DEFINATELY the WOW factor!! Very nice choice!
Yeah I know they are NOT cheap at all. I have been watching some on ebay Proform 141 108 Small Block Chevy Tall Polished Aluminum Valve Covers Chevy Logo | eBay
Not EXACTLY like yours but this is what I have been looking for.
I will be doing a custom air filter cover with a monte badge and script but I will be fabricating that myself.

Those look pretty sweet too, at almost half the price. Proform is good, fairly priced stuff. I've used their parts on many engines.

I also spent another $150 on centerbolt to perimeter bolt adapters...I did not spare any expense on that engine...Damn it was nice. My friend has the car now and that 383 just simply screams...it moves the fat *** Monte like it was nothing.

It is very obvious you did not spare any expense on that engine!!! Beautiful!!
Does your friend race it or did you? If you did, what were you running?

He ran it a couple times, but mostly just cruises with it. It ran mid 12's pretty easily.

I'm really digging that Monte Carlo.
Orange and Black was my high school colors so I always have a sweet spot for any cars painted is those hues.
