the 3100 and the 3400 are quiet at higher rpms and louder at lower rpms. you can straight pipe it completely and itll be loud at cruisin/ driving and idle, but at wot its not as loud as you would think.

I got one... their nice to have for vacations and stuff, but just so you know, they record onto the camera in a screwed up format, so youll be doing a lot of converting on your computer to edit anything!

 

oh that sux! that would **** me off, why can't people just make one that records in something you dont have to convert

 

I have a 04 SS, I got two 40 series flowmasters and resonator delete with a straight pipe. I still have the u-bend. It sounds good, but that 3.4 is louder. Mine also is quiet when the RPM's get past 3000. It is not loud on the highway at all. I will try to get a sound clip for it.
