I finally have some pictures of my 2006 SS.It is not super clean......my wife took them last weekend while we were at my mothers house.We are in the process of selling the place and she happened to get my car in some of her house photos.I will post more once it is cleaned up good,but you get the idea of how it looks for now.Space,I know you were especially interested in seeing my pride and joy.It does turn heads on the highway,that's for sure.Notice the side moldings,they did show up OK in the photos.

The only real problem I have had was the remotes stopped working for the locks,trunk,starter,etc.and the dealer had to replace the receiver unit.I also had new headlamp assemblies put in under warranty since the chrome was turning grey above the low beams.The new ones are beginning to do the same thing,however.I checked several Monte Carlos and Impalas in parking lots,and they all seem to have the same problem if you really look.Maybe I'm just too fussy.As for MPG,overall according to the info center it is getting 19-20 mpg.That is with a mix of driving.My 2000 SS with the 3.8 got 23-24 MPG with the same weekly driving.I am running 93 octane.I have thought about trying 89 but like a coworker who has a Pontiac GXP (same 5.3 liter V8) told me,it would save you about $3.00 a week and she will spend that muchat Dunkin Donuts,so why mess up a $30,000 car for that.

Well,it was a nice weekend here in PA.weather wise.I spent the afternoon cleaning up the Monte Carlo and now I have some pictures.Some are in the garage,some are outside,and I got some of the door dills,as well as some close-ups to show the sparkle in the laser blue paint.I am posting them allin the photo gallery in addition to those here.

Nice job Space.I added a few more photos in the gallery since earlier this morning.I know outdoor photos are preferred,but an indoor photo really seems to bring out the shine due to the artificial lighting.
