Finally, she's home!
After almost a month, my Monte is back from the shop! After a bad coolant leak and a much needed 10th year tune up, I got my car back last week only to have the starter fail on me last week Still have a weird fuel issue tho. But still I've been stuck in a Buick with the most god awful handling I've ever had.

That's mostly good news! Starters aren't typically too hard to do on your own. What kind of weird fuel issue are you having?

It would be easy to fix if i had the place to do it. it only cost me a 6 pack of bud to get it fix tho.... anyways it seems to be using way to much fuel. I went through 3 quarters of a tank in only 60 miles.

It was, but nothing really came up on the codes. While it was in the shop it may have been reset or something. So I'm going out in it tomorrow and run it around and see what happens. Who know it could have just been some bad gas.

It's possible I guess. Let us know. I am not over familiar with the 2001 models, but there are MANY people on here who are. I wish you luck.

First, it it an ls or an ss? You'd think it doesn't matter, but there ar some problems common to one engine and not the other.
Next, when you open the hoos, do you smell gas? How about if you start the car and let it just idle, rev it up a little bit and look underneath (more toward the fuel filter) and check for leaks.
Are there any performance issues?

Why you gotta rip on Buick? What one were you driving anyways? I love my Buicks - I've owned 3 (still own a Regal GS) and loved them all. They always exceed my expectations. My Monte is the only Chev I've ever owned (even if I don't own it), but it has to be my favorite still...
