It is an 05 and those are the stock chrome plated 17" wheels. They were an option.

I've always liked the look of the chromed version of the stock wheels.

You can see a little piece of the Z28 in one of the pics. The red one inside the garage.

You should take a pic or two of your entire stable.

I guess you could buy them through a dealer. I don't know if you can still get these wheels now, but who would buy parts from a dealer LOL!!!

Ya I need to get all of the cars out of the garage to pose in a family pic. My fiance really wants to sell his black 72 Monte and wants to buy a silver 69 Chevelle 396 (highest horsepower option) he found in Northern Wisconsin. But he HAS to sell the Monte first to put down on a car loan. Even through our Credit Union the loan rate for a classic car is about 10% interest!

I went back and looked at your pics again and i see that the door trim is off. did you just take a piece of finishing line and pull it across to peel it off or how did that work, i think it makes for a much cleaner look

That's how the car came. It was an auction car and I don't know if someone took it off or it just came that way from the factory. I know it was a one owner car that lived it's whole life in Belvedere IL and was traded back to the selling dealership. Then I guess because of the mileage (59k) it went to auction and was bought by the dealer I purchased it from.
