Monte Starting


And me in the Monte racing my other car, my 2006 GTO... I was sleeping at the lights and blew this race...

I did better in the 1st race against my car, I actually got the hole shot and had a lead...





And just barely lost at the end.... These runs came at 6100ft so we are slower up here.... The GTO had a terrible launch on this one

 

Hey LittleMT,

I Like the videos and pictures. I thought the 400 HP GTO ran better than that.

Try and stay awake next time at the lights.

 

The GTO had several terrible runs against me...

The car is brand new with a sticker in the window so it was being babied...

It ran a 14.3@97mph.... not to bad for a auto and at 6100ft....


Figure at sea level she runs better....

Before I got my 07 Black Beauty SS, I was looking to get the GTO or the SSR Chevy.

There wasn't any 07 model on the Goat or the SSR so I went with the Monte SS.

And I havn't look back since then. Going to be kind of tough finding mods for the Monte [:'(]

wow, close to 15 seconds?? i know the elevation is killing you, but the GTO guys around here would cry if they saw that lol. i believe they're running mid/low 13s (13.5<13.xx)

those gto's aren't all everybody thought they were going to be

gto's stink YEHAWWWWWWW

i dont know what they were thinking when they made these cars, its a grand am with a v8 engine, they should have spent more time on those vehicles
