Has anyone removed the exhaust resonator on a 2007 SS? If so, does it drone at low rpm when driving at highway/interstate speeds? I’d like to make the car sound a little louder without installing a cat back exhaust system. I won’t do it if it drones at low rpm’s.

I did this on my GXP (added a Y pipe in its place for an electric cutout). I wouldn't say it really added noticeable drone. With otherwise stock exhaust, it was too quiet to really have annoying drone noise inside the car. Would obviously be different on modified exhaust.
